Fresh Pineapples
In today’s puzzle we feature lots and lots of freshly picked pineapples. The pineapple is indigenous to South America. Pineapples grow as a small shrub; the individual flowers of the unpollinated plant fuse to form a multiple fruit. The flesh and juice of the pineapple are used in cuisines around the world. Some people prefer green fruit, others ripened or off-green. A pineapple never becomes any riper than it was when harvested.
